Warranty and Liability Terms - Aten

Innovation and Quality:

Aten is a cutting-edge startup, specialized in the development of technological solutions for filament 3D printing. Our flagship product, V-ONE, is a high-flow hotend designed to operate at high speeds and with industrial materials that require temperatures up to 500°C. V-ONE is the result of a continuous pursuit of excellence, capable of responding to the needs of both B2B and B2C customers, ensuring superior performance for professional and industrial applications, including the medical sector.

 

Limited Warranty:

Aten offers a 2-year limited warranty for the V-ONE product, valid only for the first purchaser and not transferable to third parties. The warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials that occur during proper and recommended use of the product. This warranty is subject to the terms and conditions listed below.

 

Warranty Conditions:

  1. Recommended Use:

V-ONE must be used according to the instructions provided by Aten. The warranty is void in the event of improper use, unauthorized modifications, incorrect installations or damage resulting from tampering.

  1. Parts Compatibility:

Any modification or replacement of components with non-original or self-produced parts voids the warranty. Only accessories and components certified by Aten are permitted.

  1. Maintenance and Storage:

The product must be stored and maintained properly. Damage resulting from carelessness or negligence is not covered by the warranty.

  1. Extreme Use Environments:

V-ONE is designed for industrial and medical environments; however, use in extreme operating conditions (for example continuous production cycles, use with materials out of specification) is not covered by the warranty, unless such use has been previously approved by Aten.

 

Medical Environments Warranty:

The use of V-ONE in medical environments must be in accordance with local regulations and standards. Aten is not responsible for the suitability of the product for specific medical regulatory requirements, nor for unauthorized or non-compliant use of the product.

 

Warranty Claims:

To report a defect covered by the warranty, the buyer must contact Aten or the authorized dealer with a detailed description of the problem, attaching images or videos of the defect. Aten reserves the right to request inspection of the product before proceeding with repair, replacement or refund, depending on the technical evaluation made by our experts.

 

Shipping Costs:

If the claim is approved, the shipping costs for sending the defective product to Aten are paid by the buyer. If the warranty is confirmed, Aten will cover the costs of returning the repaired or replaced product. Otherwise, the buyer will be responsible for all shipping costs.

 

Disclaimers of Warranty:

The warranty does not cover damage caused by:

- Use not in accordance with the technical and operational specifications of the product;

- Accidents, normal wear and tear or inadequate maintenance;

- Unauthorized modifications or technical interventions by non-certified personnel;

- Use of the product in environments or conditions not in accordance with the indications provided by Aten.

 

Limitation of Liability:

Aten shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising out of the use of the V-ONE product, including:

- Machine downtime, service interruptions or production losses;

- Loss of data, critical information or economic;

- Any other consequences related to the use of the product beyond the terms of the warranty.

 

Updates and Innovation:

Aten reserves the right to update or modify products without prior notice. In the event that a component or product is discontinued or updated, Aten may offer an alternative or improved version that is compatible with the original specifications.

Aten offers dedicated technical support to ensure the maximum operational efficiency of V-ONE. Customers can contact our team for assistance in installing, configuring and using the product. Support is available via email or through the online ticket system. We also offer customized support options for our B2B customers with specific needs related to complex projects or production-intensive environments.

 

Warranty Extension Options:

Aten offers the option to extend the standard warranty for V-ONE. The warranty extension provides additional coverage for an additional 1 or 2 years, including priority support services.
